Rivers of Flowers Celebration

TERM 1, WEEK 4
Banks Avenue School went down to the Avon River on the 22nd February to take part in the River of Flowers earthquake 5 year anniversary memorial. The students performed 2 fantastic songs and a haka, as well as getting to mark the occasion by throwing some flowers into the river.

Some of our students have been sharing their musical talents with the class this week. Well done Roddy and Lily! And well done to everyone else for being a wonderful, supportive audience. Really showing that school value of Togetherness!!
